Jimmy Wong’s Golden Dragon Asian Bistro is a San Diego classic recently remodeled for the 21st century. Although we’ve kept our famous sign, the food and interior are entirely updated, offering a classic Thai , Asian fusion inspired menu along with draft beers, wine, and desserts. Jimmy’s talents extended beyond that of running a restaurant. He designed the historic landmark neon dragon on the outside of the building in 1989. Established in 2006, The Asian Bistro continued his spirit of creating amazing asian cuisine and the neon dragon remains on guard at the entrance to this Hillcrest landmark to guide all who seek delicious food paired with family like service.
